What’s the difference between Stainless & Hardened Steel Nozzles?

Stainless steel is standard, thermally efficient, and great for PLA/PETG/ABS.Hardened steel is for abrasive filaments: carbon fiber, glow-in-the-dark, woodfill, and metal-filled. It’s far more durable and won’t wear out quickly. Many Reddit users run hardened 0.4mm for everything with no downsides—only better longevity.

Do I need a separate nozzle for PETG / PLA?
