BX300 3D Printer Grease for Bambu Lab Lead Screws (30g)
BX300 3D Printer Grease for Bambu Lab Lead Screws (30g)
Lead Screws and Pulley Contact
Lubricates lead-screw threads and the contact where a belt meets an idle pulley. Apply a thin layer to clean screw threads, or only a small amount at that pulley contact to reduce noise.
Usable in Desktop Heat Chambers
With a 120°C (248°F) rating, BX300 can lubricate lead screws inside the heat chambers of typical desktop printers such as the H2D, H2D Pro, and X2D.

BX300 is the OEM 3D printer grease Bambu Lab uses on lead screws. The white, semi-synthetic formula uses an inorganic thickener and an NLGI 2.5 body, so it suits screw threads rather than parts that need a thin oil film. It can also reduce noise where a belt meets an idle pulley, with only a small amount at the contact. The −30°C to 120°C (−22°F to 248°F) rating covers warm chambers on typical desktop printers. Do not apply it to X1/P1 X-axis carbon rods, and do not use it in place of oil on linear guides. Model BX-300/F(8)-JR, 30g tube.

Frequently Asked Questions About BX300 3D Printer Grease for Bambu Lab Lead Screws (30g)
Is BX300 the grease used for Bambu Lab maintenance?
Yes. BX300, full model BX-300/F(8)-JR, is the OEM grease for Bambu Lab maintenance. Use it for the grease applications in Bambu’s lubricant wiki: lead screws, and a small amount at the belt-to-idle-pulley contact to reduce noise. Do not coat entire belts or belt teeth. Do not apply it to X1/P1 X-axis carbon rods, and do not use it instead of lubricant oil on linear guides, slide rails, or steel shafts.
Where should I use BX300 grease rather than oil?
BX300 is for the grease uses in Bambu’s lubricant wiki: lead screws, and a small amount at the belt-to-idle-pulley contact to reduce noise. Lubricating oil is for model-specified linear guides, slide rails, and steel shafts.
Is BX300 lubricating grease the same as thermal grease?
No. BX300 is intended to reduce friction in suitable moving parts. Thermal grease is used at specified heat-transfer interfaces, such as certain hotend assemblies. Do not use BX300 as thermal paste or use thermal paste to lubricate lead screws; select the product specified for the component.
How often should I lubricate the lead screws?
Bambu recommends checking and lubricating lead screws approximately every three months. Inspect sooner with heavy use or dusty conditions. Check for contamination, dry areas, or abnormal movement rather than repeatedly adding grease over a dirty layer. If noise persists after proper maintenance, investigate mechanical causes instead of adding more grease.

What Should I Buy from Call3D?
Call3D is particularly valuable when you are looking for:

Every product we list is selected for a clear functional purpose, with compatibility, installation requirements, and known limitations reviewed before publication. Our goal is to help customers choose the right solution—not simply offer the largest possible catalog.
Why Call3D over a Marketplace?
General marketplaces may offer a large number of similar-looking products from different sellers, making it difficult to evaluate compatibility, product quality, and after-sales responsibility.

If customers need help before ordering or encounter a problem afterward, they can contact the same team that selected and documented the product.
We focus on long-term customer relationships, clear communication, and responsible after-sales support rather than a one-time transaction.

When EP invited me to Shenzhen back in 2019, I was absolutely blown away by the hardware innovation coming out of China. Just one year later, Bambu Lab burst onto the scene—and their solutions have grown right alongside Bambu, evolving from the very beginning to where they are today.

Bought a ventilation system but changed my mind last minute. I thought returns would be a huge hassle, but they told me there’s a return warehouse in Houston only about a 10-minute drive from where I live in Missouri City. Drove over and returned it super easily. Super convenient return process, great experience overall!

Found this shop on Reddit, chatted with a real person about the P2S filter I needed. Asked if they could ship to SG, they checked and made it happen! Super happy because this filter is basically impossible to find locally and always out of stock everywhere else. Fast, friendly, and solved my problem perfectly. Will buy again!

Before buying, I asked around and someone explained the rods are carbon, so you’ll eventually see carbon dust. The upside is they’re self-lubricating. I’m really glad I checked first—so I didn’t add grease to the carbon rod. Bambu’s own guidance is a bit confusing (sometimes they say grease, sometimes oil), and even support didn’t seem sure, so clarifying beforehand saved me from doing the wrong thing.
This grease has been genuinely solid for my Bambu maintenance. Some other brands I tried would start to break down over time and turn into a runny, liquid oil. After using this one for a while, I haven’t seen that happen—it stays consistent and does the job.
I got this for my old Creality CR-6 SE 3D printer. I haven't added grease to the Z(ed) height linear rods since I got it from when it was on kickstarter and when I saw this available to test from Amazon vine I jumped on it. As soon as I received this I put some on the rods and noticed less noise right away. There wasn't a lot of noise, but it did make what was there go away. It's also peace mind that you won't have complete metal on metal parts. That's never a good thing! A little goes a long way too, so you get enough to add more down the road when it needs some.
This is great 3D printer grease! You don’t need to use too much so it’s a great value for your money! A little bit goes a long way! It washes off your skin easily with soap and there was no irritation. It does what it’s supposed to do and works great!
This BX grease is fantastic for lead screws, keeping everything moving silently without acting like a magnet for dust and debris. It stays remarkably clean compared to other lubricants, making it the perfect low-maintenance choice for my 3D printer. Not too thick or too runny. Good price for its performance.

This printer grease definitely feels 'stickier' than others I've used. I mean that is a positive way.
I've done a complete clean and relube on two of my printers using this. A Bambu P1S and a Snapmaker U1 and I've been happy with it both times. It goes on smooth and really stays on well. It seems to get into grooves and slides where my previous grease would struggle and just get wiped off more than anything.
I've also used it on the Z axis screws on a Kobra 3 Max and it seems to have smoothed out the motor noise I was getting from it previously. It was one of those situations where I didn't even realize the motor was noisy, but once I cleaned the screws and applied fresh grease it immediately became much quieter. I'm very happy with it - this stuff is expensive no matter what you get and I don't see the price as far out of line from other quality grease for printers.
