This is a really useful little tool. In my case my extruder has plenty of pulling force, so it still feeds fine, but having this in the setup is still a nice improvement and makes things more reliable.

This happens sometimes with the AMS—if it gets jammed and the machine doesn’t detect it in time, the print is basically done. Voron builds have had modules like this for a while, so it would be great to see at least a simple filament runout detection switch added. For more advanced setups, pairing it with some of the refill/continuation ideas people share on Reddit would be awesome.

Honestly, Bambu’s own packaging can be kind of brutal sometimes. I had a spool where the filament was taped down inside, and that tape ended up going straight into the PTFE tube and jammed everything hard. Super frustrating.
