Product Description

The PolyDryer Box is a sealed filament storage box built for the Polymaker PolyDryer modular drying system. Choose Standard for common spools (up to 1 kg) or PolyDryer Box XL for larger spools (up to 3 kg) with a built-in hygrometer for easier humidity checks. Store filament in a protected, moisture-resistant enclosure, then swap the box onto a PolyDryer Dry Dock when you want controlled drying.

Why Add an Extra PolyDryer Box (or XL)?

An extra polydryer box lets you keep more filament sealed between prints, then move the box onto your PolyDryer Dry Dock whenever you need active drying. If you use larger spools or want visible humidity tracking, the PolyDryer Box XL supports up to 3 kg spools and adds a built-in hygrometer

Do I need the PolyDryer Dry Dock to use the PolyDryer Box / Box XL?

Both boxes can work as sealed storage containers on their own, but active heated drying requires the PolyDryer Dry Dock. The modular idea is to keep multiple boxes sealed, then dock the one you want to dry.

Why does my PLA still read 45% humidity after drying on Level 1 for 6 hours?

This can be normal if moisture has nowhere to escape or if the desiccant pack is also being dried inside the box. For heat drying in the PolyDryer Box, open the top and side vent caps so moisture can leave the box. Remove the desiccant pack before drying unless you are sure it is already dry, so the drying target is only the filament, not the desiccant as well. A practical workflow is to open both small vent caps, remove the desiccant box, set the drying time to continuous/overnight, and let the PLA dry overnight before printing.
