The FNATR P2S Ventilation system provides 5-stage external filtration for Bambu Lab P2S printer exhaust. It helps reduce airborne particles, VOCs, and printing odors before the exhaust air enters the room.

Three airflow settings let you balance filtration with chamber heat retention during ABS, ASA, and nylon printing. Start with low airflow and monitor the chamber temperature as you print, adjusting the setting to suit your printing setup. Maintain room ventilation while using the system.

There are two connection routes: use a self-printed AMS riser with a compatible exhaust connection, or connect through the separately purchased P2S External Exhaust Fan Kit. If you choose the fan-kit route, Call3D includes a ready-to-use elbow adapter to connect FNATR. A local plug adapter is also included for your shipping destination.

Better than “duct-to-home-purifier” DIY Setups for One-way Exhaust Control

Instead of ducting the printer vent into a typical household air purifier (which is designed for room recirculation and is usually not a one-way check valve), FNATR is designed as a directional, ducted exhaust path: air is pulled from the P2S enclosure and pushed through the filter stack in one direction, which can reduce “blow-back / re-intake” behavior and lower the chance of exhaust air mixing back into the room. A more one-way flow path can also reduce backflow risk around the vent connection and be more consistent than improvised adapters, though results still depend on sealing and installation quality.

AMS Riser Route: Print a compatible AMS riser model with an exhaust connection and route the outlet to FNATR. The riser is not supplied as a finished part.
External Fan Kit Route: Purchase the P2S External Exhaust Fan Kit separately and connect it to FNATR using the included ready-to-use elbow adapter.
Printer Configuration: For the fan-kit route, check the rear-panel version. Bambu notes that P2S printers without AMS require an additional buffer accessory for the kit.

Should I use an AMS riser or the P2S External Exhaust Fan Kit with FNATR?

We recommend pairing FNATR with the P2S External Exhaust Fan Kit for a more reliably sealed exhaust connection. In our customer experience, some self-printed AMS risers have allowed fumes to escape through gaps. Fit and sealing can vary with printing material, layer height, and shrinkage. A compatible printed riser remains an option, but check its fit and seal carefully. The fan kit is sold separately; Call3D includes the elbow adapter needed to connect it to FNATR.

Yes. Turn on the P2S External Exhaust Fan Kit’s exhaust fan and run FNATR to extract and filter air while printing.

With a 40°C chamber baseline, the reference temperatures are:

- FNATR Level 1: around 40°C (±0.5°C).
- FNATR Level 2: around 40°C (±0.5°C).
- FNATR Level 3: around 37°C — a drop of about 3°C.

Start with Level 1 and monitor chamber temperature. Actual temperatures vary with room conditions and installation.

Does FNATR filter air during printing, or only after the print finishes?

FNATR can filter exhaust during printing as well as afterwards, provided the unit is running and air can flow from the chamber through the connected exhaust route. With the official fan-kit route, check the printer’s exhaust mode: high-temperature material settings may keep external exhaust closed during printing to retain heat. Connecting FNATR does not by itself guarantee continuous exhaust or automatic synchronization with the printer. Confirm airflow for your chosen installation and material settings.

Do I need extra filtration if I only print PLA or PETG on my P2S?

Additional filtration can still be useful for long printing sessions or rooms with limited ventilation. PLA and PETG printing can release airborne particles and VOCs even when odors are mild. Whether you need an extra system depends on your materials, usage, and room airflow. For PLA/PETG, prioritize the cooling required by your print rather than retaining unnecessary chamber heat; FNATR supplements room ventilation.

Great product. Fan is silent. Hooked up directly to my P1S and it sufficiently pulls air from the inside. No heat creep even with closed doors. They provide Backplate that you can easily print in less than one hour, would recommend adding gasket still for a better seal. Over all a life saver.
