Product Description

The Bambu Filament Track Switch is a smart filament routing accessory designed to automate filament-to-nozzle assignment for compatible dual-nozzle platforms. It enables slicer-assigned routing, so any AMS filament can be sent to the nozzle selected by the slicer, reducing the need to manually regroup spools between AMS units. When paired with supported slicer features, it can also enable Dynamic Mapping to help reduce purge waste in multi-color prints (setup- and model-dependent). Current official compatibility is X2D; H2D/H2C support is expected within Q2 2026 per the manufacturer notice. Time/material savings vary by model geometry, color distribution by layer, purge settings, and filament behavior.
