The Bambu Lab P2S hotend is a genuine Bambu Lab replacement assembly with an integrated nozzle for the P2S 3D printer. It lets owners replace a worn or clogged unit, keep a ready spare, or choose another nozzle diameter for a different printing task. The nozzle and hotend are replaced together rather than as separate threaded parts.

Choose 0.2 mm stainless steel for fine details, or standard-flow hardened steel in 0.4, 0.6, or 0.8 mm for everyday and larger prints. High-flow tungsten carbide options are listed in 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 mm; select the combination of size, flow type, and material that matches your filament and job.

The latch-based quick-swap design separates the removable hotend from the printer’s heating assembly, making it practical to switch complete units after they have cooled. Material compatibility depends on the variant: 0.2 mm stainless steel is not recommended for fiber-filled filament, and Bambu lists 0.4 mm high-flow tungsten carbide as not recommended for PLA-CF or PETG-CF. Each package contains one hotend with nozzle. The P2S printer limit is 300°C (572°F), even though the hotend hardware is rated to 350°C (662°F).

Do I need to remove leftover filament from a removed nozzle/hotend?

If you’ll keep printing the same material, you usually don’t need to—your next print will typically purge the small остатки/leftover filament. If you’re switching to a different material, you can remove the leftover filament first (for example, use pliers to pull it out once it’s safe to handle).

I opened both latches, but the hotend won’t come out—what should I do?

Gently grip the lower-left area of the heatsink (the section with the white printed text) with pliers and pull upward to lift the hotend out. Avoid squeezing the heater block, and only do this after the hotend has fully cooled down.

What if the P2S hotend is stuck during removal?

Do not force a stuck assembly. Follow Bambu Lab’s replacement guide for its removal procedure and safety precautions; the guide describes gentle heating and insulated gloves for certain stuck-hotend cases. Disconnect power as directed and avoid touching hot components.

How do I swap the P2S hotend and update its settings?
