Seeing random blobs or bumps on the surface of your prints? Those often start as sticky filament buildup on the nozzle that doesn’t fully wipe away. This X2D Nozzle Brush swaps in for the original wiper on Bambu Lab X2D and uses oil-treated silicone bristles to help sweep residue off as part of the standard wipe routine. Cleaner nozzle passes can mean fewer dragged “boogers,” fewer surprise marks on top layers, and a smoother finish overall (results depend on material and settings).

With gooey materials (PETG in particular), the nozzle can collect a soft ring of filament that the factory wiper sometimes smears rather than removes. That leftover buildup can later fall onto the bed or get dragged across the print, creating bumps, scars, or occasional partial clogs. This replacement silicone brush is designed to brush the nozzle exterior more effectively, and its light silicone-oil treatment helps sticky strands release instead of piling up. The goal is a cleaner nozzle during normal operation—without extra add-ons or manual cleaning between prints
